Shami kabab is a thing I could eat throughout my life daily without fail. I make them ultimate and this is one of the dish I'm proud of. Its a 100 year old dish recipe that is running in our family and came from India to us.So have fun with it.
Ingredients
Chicken or Beef Boneless Half kgGround garam masala 1 Tablespoon
Ginger Garlic paste 2 Tablespoon
Salt one Tablespoon or to taste
round red chilli coarsely ground
Chany ki daal 250 gram or one quarter kg
Mixing ingredients
chopped mint chaat masala or to taste
chopped green chilli,
chopped onion
chopped ginger
(One tablespoon each)
and one egg
Method
Mix all ingredients.Put it in cooker pour water that all ingredients are two inch down in water.Cook till all is tender and mixed homogenously.You could prefer to grind in pastel and mortar or grinder,chopper.But if you want it fibry then cook it more and dry it till hard.
Then mix chopped mint,chaat masala,chopped green chilli,chopped onion and one egg to bind it well.
mix well and shape into kababs.
